Phillip Daniels Is My Life Coach

Everyone wants to be successful, just not today. A mentor of mine told me those words many years ago and they are so true. We want to do the right things in life, whether it be a personal goal, a work goal or a relationship goal. We want to get in shape, starting next Monday. We want to spend more quality time with our loved ones, after this busy time with work is over. We want to start a diet, starting January 1st.

Yep, we all want to be successful, just not today. Well, for me, being successful starts tomorrow...and I mean it. I probably would've started my diet and working out program after the New Year had it not been for former Washington Redskin Phillip Daniels. PD recruited some of his Twitter followers to join him in losing some weight. Of course PD is a 15 year veteran of the NFL and one of the greatest power lifters in the world, so I'm not sure what I'm getting into here.

My goal is to lose 25 pounds. I'm pretty sure I'm going to weigh in around 196 in the morning, and I want to get down to 171. I weighed 172 my freshman year of college...in 1992. I played baseball in college and I remember that I LIED when I listed my weight in the program that year, I added 2 inches to my height and 12 pounds to my weight. Back then I wanted to weigh more, now I'd love to weigh the same.

It's starts tomorrow and my goal is to be done before my birthday on March 4th...let's do this.
